Going to the Movies.

I looked in my wallet today and it was empty. Where money should have been, there was a Visa swiped customer copy of my receipt to the movies. I had taken my child and their friend to see Ice Age (whatever number it was). We each got Nachos and a water, of course the movie was in 3-D, so those tickets cost a little more. Lastly, dad had to have some Junior Mints. They rang it all up and guess what it totalled? $44.50 I just stood there with my mouth wide open. The kid working said “if you came after 7:00pm, it would be $6 more”. Oh my goodness.

I know right! OMGosh, it is so expensive…a shame because it keeps me from going to the theatre and it’s been years since I splurged and actually watched a movie in the theatre.
